Award-winning, sustainable store concept for adidas Terrex

First ever European flagship

Adidas TERREX is the athletic brand made for the outdoors. It’s first ever European flagship can be discovered in the heart of Munich’s shopping district. We worked with adidas to ‘bring the outdoors inside’ in an immersive customer experience which goes beyond the standards for this category. Everything, from the aesthetic of the store to the services provided is aimed at preparing the adventurer for exploration.

With a façade made of local sandstone, plant vitrines and 3D printed mannequins the store’s sustainability focus is clear from the entrance
The Community & Service Hub acts as a first point of call for adventurers, where they can find local trail routes, book onto instore events and learn from adidas experts
An integrated water refill station allows explorers to replenish their supplies, without any single use plastic
The design of the space is very authentic to the brand. It’s a place to get inspired and to learn about TERREX’s/adidas Outdoors rich heritage and to connect with others. The end result is a sustainable, dynamic and sensorial brand experience which mirrors the beauty of nature and invites people to experience the essence of TERREX.
Authentic materials were selected across the store – from real clay renders to real plants, responsibly sourced timber and recycled plastic material
Digital screens act as portals to the outdoors, adapting to product ranges and seasons
